The concerts of Voces en el Pirineo will take place in some of the most remarkable heritage sites in Ribagorza (Huesca, Spain). Churches, basilicas and fortresses where history, architecture and landscape create unique settings for choral music. Basilica of Virgen de la Peña (Graus)
Suspended above a great rock overlooking the town of Graus, this basilica offers one of the most impressive panoramic views in Ribagorza. Its Gothic nave and the light that passes through its interior spaces create an atmosphere of great artistic and spiritual power. To sing here is to sing among mountains, heritage and horizon, in a setting that seems to rise from the rock itself.
Cathedral of San Vicentet (Roda de Isábena)
One of the oldest cathedrals in Aragon and a jewel of European Romanesque architecture. Its golden-stone apses rise above the Ribagorzan landscape, creating an unforgettable sight. Inside, the serenity of the cloister and the atmosphere of the crypt of Saint Raymond surround the music in an intimate space filled with history. Castle - Convent of Benabarre
A historic fortress and former centre of power in Ribagorza, the Castle-Convent of Benabarre dominates the surrounding territory from a privileged position.
