An international choral encounter with soul
Voces en el Pirineo was created as a non-competitive international choral festival, designed to bring together music, heritage, mountain culture, and fellowship in the heart of the Pyrenees.
From 2 to 4 October 2026, Benasque Valley and Ribagorza will host the first edition of this gathering, open to choirs from different places wishing to enjoy a warm, carefully curated musical experience with its own distinctive identity.
For three days, participating groups will be able to sing in spaces with character, share the stage and experiences with other choirs, discover a unique territory, and be part of a final joint performance in Benasque.
Voces en el Pirineo does not want to be just a succession of concerts. It wants to be an experience lived through travel, heritage, listening, togetherness and shared memories.

Music, heritage and mountain
The festival is born in a borderland and meeting place, where mountains, villages, languages and history form part of a living identity.
Singing in the Benasque Valley and Ribagorza means bringing music to places steeped in memory: churches, heritage sites, and spaces that offer much more than just a stage. Each performance aims to be a way of discovering the territory and allowing the landscape to converse with the music.

A choir-to-choir invitation
Voces en el Pirineo is designed for choirs looking for more than just performing at a festival. It is intended for groups that wish to share, listen, interact and be part of an international choral experience on a close and human scale.
To participate in this first edition it means being there from the very beginning of a project that is born with a vocation for continuity and with the desire to become a recognisable and cherished choral event in the Pyrenees.
