Els Pitarrois del Freixe
Els Pitarrois del Freixe de la Vall de Benàs will be the host choir and artistic coordinator of the first edition of Voces en el Pirineo.
Founded in 1998 in the Benasque Valley, the choir has developed a path deeply connected to the territory, the cultural life of the valley and the promotion of choral music.

Over the years, Els Pitarrois del Freixe has promoted its own projects, such as Galino Galinás, and has taken part in international gatherings and festivals in cities such as Prague, Salzburg and Sicily.
An invitation from the territory
After experiencing this kind of choral gathering in different places across Europe, the choir now wishes to bring that same emotion home: to open the doors of the Benasque Valley and Ribagorza and welcome other choirs with a close, choral and shared spirit.
Voces en el Pirineo is therefore born as a simple and special invitation: to share music, heritage and fellowship in a territory with its own identity.
From choir to choir
This first edition aims to be much more than a festival. It seeks to be a meeting between people who love to sing, to listen and to create shared memories through music.
That is why Voces en el Pirineo is, above all, an invitation from choir to choir.
